William Dugdale Correspondence

Thomas Brereton

Cheshire gentleman

Thomas Brereton, Handford, Ches. to William Dugdale, 23 July 1664

'Worthy Sir, I must needs acknowledge my selfe much obliged to you for your Civillity and paines in your perusall of my Pedegree'. Since he cannot himself be at the assizes, he has sent a servant to act on his behalf, to whom Dugdale may give a copy of the pedigree, if he sees fit.
