'I had waited uppon you accordinge to your summons, but that I was prevented by many infirmities incident to old age'. He 'can give you but small account of my extraction, being destitute of an able Clarke to reade my old Deedes .. I cannot blazon, but I hope time & opportunity will give both you & me more satisfaction'. Noted that fee was sent to Dugdale at Shrewsbury.
