Rowland Nevet to William Dugdale, [September 1664]

Sends an apology for not attending Dugdale at Bridgnorth. 'It is well knowen to the neighbourhood where I live that I have beene exceedingly sicke of a feaver, for about thirteen weeks, that brought mee nigh unto the grave' and he is too sick to travel. 'And as for a coate of armes which I understand is the cause of the summons I never did nor doe I intend, to challenge anie such unto my selfe'.
