Administration for Rowland Wood of Brookthorpe (d. 1701)

Know all men by these presents that I Elizabeth Wood the widow and relict of Roland Wood late of Brookthropp in the County of Gloucester Esquire deceased Have renounced and by these presents doe renounce my right of administration in & to the goods and chattells of my said late husband And doe desire that administration thereof be granted & committed to Thomas Wood my eldest Sonne And for that purpose I doe hereby constitute James Elly of the City of Gloucester my Proctor to appeare before Richard Parsons Doctor of Lawes & Chancellor of the Diocess of Gloucester & get this my renunciation enacted.

In witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Wood have hereunto sett my hand and seale the Eighth day of October in the Thirteenth yeare of the raigne of oure Soveraigne Lord King William the Third over England &c Annoque domini 1701.
