Assessment
1671:TNA, E179/247/13, 35r-v
1672:TNA, E179/247/14, 10v-11r
Thomas Cullimore, constable (Tetbury)
John [Hooper], constable (Upton, Doughton & Elmestree)
The 1671 assessment for Tetbury, which is incomplete, was explicitly arranged in the order West Street, Church Street, Little Silver Street. The 1672 assessment did not follow the same order, but appears to start in Church Street. The number of hearths for some entries are lost to a hole. The assessment noted that there were 17 people receiving alms, who were omitted.
Only the 1672 assessment survives for Charlton and for Upton, Doughton & Elmestree. Although the assessment for Upton, Doughton & Elmestree appeared after that for Rodmarton, the exemptions are included in Tetbury (Nash, Laurence & Humfryes for Doughton & Widdell for Upton).
