Only the end of the 1671 assessment survives, which shows that it was not ordered in the same way as the 1672 assessment. Additional names from the 1671 assessment that cannot be reconciled with entries in the later are: Widow Browne (2), Widow Norton (1), Richard Petty (20) and John Burford (2).
The 1671 assessment records that there were 8 people receiving alms, who were omitted.
